2017 Lauf Gut Alsenhof Spätburgunder VDP.Erste Lage trocken, Baden, Germany

Clear, firm aroma of ripe red and black berries with nutty and slightly tobacco tones, floral nuances, a little mushroom, bacon and a hint of tobacco. Ripe, tart, juicy fruit, slightly smoky notes, herbs and a hint of coffee, persistent, hints of juniper, chalk and salt in the background, fine, youthful tannin, has bite, still undeveloped, very good, taut, tangy, again also smoky finish with dry herb notes and a hint of juniper.
