Striking, clear, quite deep and dense nose with predominantly dark berries and cherries, with a certain pine needle ether, herbs, roasted mushrooms, pepper, and a touch of bacon with toasty and restrained smoky nuances. Quite juicy, ripe, very berry-like, juicy, almost crunchy fruit, fine acidity and tender tannin, bittersweet chocolate and coffee-roasted wood aromas, very slight malty notes, some long pepper, very good, juicy, toasty and ethereal-spicy finish. Should age.
