Tart, firm, yet restrained, delicately smoky, nutty and lightly woody aroma with restrained pome fruit and citrus aromas as well as delicately chalky nuances and hints of yellow spice. Lean, cool, quite dry, light fruit, delicately smoky, planty and nutty tones, lively acidity, moderate, fine tannin, again some light wood, almost intense minerality, a hint of nut butter, fine chanterelle aromas and some saffron, very good, tight and concentrated, only slightly drying finish that clearly gains juice with air. May mature.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2029+. What our ratings mean
