2021 Pinot Noir Landwein "Muschelkalk", Oberrhein, Germany

Clear, firm and quite deep, somewhat nutty aroma of more red than black forest berries with a hint of cocoa, chalky hints and certain barrel tones. Taut, tart, rather cool fruit, slightly smoky and toasty wood notes, present, fine tannin, certain acidity, persistent on the palate, has freshness, hints of dark ethereal spice, certain depth, chalky-salty minerality, still young, very good, firm, hints of chocolaty finish with a hint of coffee grounds and resinous traces.
