Very slightly cloudy old gold. Distinctly nutty and a hint of smoky aroma with pome fruit accentuated yellow fruity aromas, a little saffron-like yellow spice as well as mushroomy and buttery aromas. Ripe, firm, tart-juicy fruit with nutty and yellow-spicy tones, some butter and rooty-vegetable tones, fine acidity, grip of crumbly tannin, yeasty notes, slightly ethereal spiciness on the palate, medium power, tart, quite firm, a hint of warm finish with bite and again nutty, herbal and yellow-spicy flavours.

Best to drink: Mitte 2023 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
