2013 Spätburgunder, Oberrhein, Germany

Still quite restless, reductive, burnt-yeasty and nutty nose with red and black berry aromas, especially elderberry, with foliage and some gum. Tart, light-bodied, delicately juicy fruit on the palate, some salt, charcoal and humus, fairly prominent acidity, quite light medicinal notes on the palate, some grassy vegetal notes, good, tart finish.
