2016 Essingen Rossberg Grauburgunder trocken feeling so real, Pfalz, Germany

Light nutty oak on the nose, hint of bacon, light vegetal notes, restrained yellow fruit, some caramel, smoky and light earthy notes. Sweetish, partly candied fruit on the palate, smoky oak and a hint of tobacco, lively acidity, some sugar candy, fennel, medium body, light tannic grip, slightly obtrusive sweetness on a good to very good finish.
