Polished, somewhat vegetal to ethereal-herbal, nutty and hint of animal scent of predominantly dark berries with cherry notes, as well as a little juniper, sesame and marzipan. Clear, fairly firm, slightly warm fruit with some bitter-chocolatey wood flavours, lead pencil and pepper, fine sandy, youthful tannins, good persistence, a hint of medicinal herbs and tar in the background, earthy tones, bergamot, very good finish with clear, taut juice and smoky, spicy wood notes.

Best to drink: Mitte 2025 bis 2031+. What our ratings mean
