Fairly tart dark fruit on the palate, woody and lightly dried vegetal notes, sandy, slightly astringent tannins, slightly bitter and rough on the palate, noticeable alcohol, noticeably more noticeable with air, slightly astringent on a good to very good finish and strong alcohol. Must be something mature.
