2022 Achkarren Schlossberg Grauburgunder VDP.Grosses Gewächs trocken, Baden, Germany

Cooler, firmer and deeper, somewhat fresh-plant-like to herbal and a little reminiscent of seashells, also a delicate earthy scent of yellow fruits with a hint of nutmeg, ash, and wasabi. Fine, firm, juicy and noble fruit with cool juice, slightly smoky and nutty wood aromas as well as a touch of red berries, lively yet very fine acidity, noticeable tannin grip, dense and persistent on the palate, good depth, intensely chalky minerality, slightly maritime notes, has cool elements despite all its strength, very good to long, somewhat smoky and again chalky finish with light yellow-spicy traces.
