Firm, delicately juniper-like scent of black and red berries with a hint of bread crust, dried herbal nuances, hints of pine needles and a touch of tar. Tight, tangy, relatively dark fruit, herbal, smoky and somewhat junipery tones, again a little bread crust, orange peel in the background, crumbly-sandy tannin, salty, nutty and restrained coffee-spicy notes, has power, good depth, hints of juniper, very good finish with warm juice and lots of spice.
