2019 Ihringen Vorderer Winklerberg Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Baden, Germany

Still slightly muted, nutty, earthy and tobacco nose of red and black berries with a little root vegetables, earthy nuances and slightly ethereal notes. Clear, tart, juicy, quite polished fruit, a little smoky and bitter-chocolatey wood spice with coffee notes, some acid bite, juniper-ethereal notes on the palate, crumbly-sandy tannin, a little cubeb pepper, lasting, quite powerful, still young, some bite, resinous-herbal nuances, very good finish.
