2003 Ihringen Winklerberg Silvaner Spätlese trocken, Baden, Germany

Mature nose with elegant note of yellow fruit and some spongecake. Medium-bodied on the palate, polished fruit, apples and some preserved apricots, integrated acidity, light mineral traces, unfortunately slightly rough tannins, slightly bitter note on an otherwise good finish. Very elegant wine from a hot vintage, attractive expression of its origin.
