Orange to copper-colored. Somewhat nutty and a hint of caramel scent of ripe, partly candied citrus fruits with herbal to herbal aromas, a bit of honey and pollen. Ripe, developed fruit, again somewhat nutty and caramel-like, floral aromas, a trace of butter, white bread and honey, vegetable tones, relatively fine acidity, somewhat covering tannin, a certain melt, rock candy notes, good to very good, again somewhat covered and slightly vegetable finish. Cannot deny the vintage, but holds up very well.
