2016 Pinot Blanc Landwein Pur, Pfalz, Germany

Slightly hazy, light yellow colour, green at the rim. Cool, fairly firm yeasty nose, vegetal and herbaceous notes, light nutty notes, elegant yellow fruit, light mineral notes in the background. Clear, polished, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, fairly prominent fine sandy tannins, crisp acidity, vegetal, herbaceous, yeasty and nutty notes, light earthy and mineral notes, persistent and gripping, hint of tobacco in the background, cool style, fairly firm structure, some depth, fime tannins provide firm grip on a very good firm, tart, juicy finish. Surprisingly, is slightly reminiscent of an excellent Muscadet.
