2019 Schliengen Chasselas VDP.Ortswein trocken "Courage", Baden, Germany

Quite firm and deep, somewhat smoky, nutty and vegetal to herbal nose of yellow fruits with a hint of reneclodes, bacon and mushrooms. Ripe, firm fruit with smoky and spicy wood nuances, a hint of yeast, hints of redcurrant leaves, thyme and juniper, fine, lively acidity, noticeable tannic grip, good substance and persistence, some yellow spicy notes, distinct minerality, slightly sweet melting, very good, grippy finish.
