2019 Schliengen Pinot Noir VDP.Ortswein trocken, Baden, Germany

Somewhat smoky, nutty and vegetal to dried herbal scent of mixed berries with slightly peppery and leathery hints. Ripe, rather lean fruit with a hint of sour cherries and citrus zest, some acid bite, sandy tannin, bitterly sooty and nutty wood tones in the background, some vegetal spice, good to very good finish.
