2019 Schliengen Sonnenstück Pinot Noir Grosses Gewächs trocken, Baden, Germany

Firm and quite deep, smoky, a touch vegetal and also delicately bacony aroma of more black than red berries with cherry notes, some herbs, coffee and a hint of mushrooms. Ripe, tangy, quite firmly knitted fruit, noticeable acidity, slightly nutty and a hint of coffee-spicy wood, fine vegetal to herbal tones, persistent, a little spicy, taut, crumbly-sandy, ripe tannin, still young, some depth, chalky hints, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish.
