Tart, somewhat dried planty aroma with black and red berry notes, a little cherry and fleshy tones, herbs and bread crust. Tart-juicy fruit with herbal and a little juniper aromas, spring onions, a little fresh garlic and pepper, relatively fine tannin and some bite, good persistence, still young, smoky tones, a hint of green peppers, a little coffee grounds, plus mushrooms, very good finish with bite.

Best to drink: 2024-2028+. What our ratings mean

Editor note: Tart, slightly bacony aroma reminiscent of pork rinds with polished red and black berry aromas, hints of black olives and dried Mediterranean herbs as well as a hint of beetroot. Ripe, firm, tangy fruit with bite and present, yet quite fine tannins, somewhat smoky to bacony on the palate, nutty and spicy tones, lasting, certain power, some depth, toasty notes, hints of coffee in the background, some salt, becomes even juicier with air, very good, juicy and tangy finish.
