2019 Großheppach Steingrüble Spätburgunder trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Red berry scent with slightly tobacco and nutty wood notes, smoky traces and a hint of ethereal spice. Clear, quite polished, fresh juicy fruit, some toasty and nutty wood spice, again also a little smoke, peppery ethereal tones on the palate, good persistence, fine, ripe, still youthful tannin and some bite, has quite power with moderate alcohol, a hint of clove, mineral tones in the background, still young, very good, quite firm finish with juice and spice.
