2018 Großheppach Wanne Syrah trocken SL "Klingenberg", Württemberg, Germany

Firm, a hint of smoky, bacon aroma of ripe, predominantly dark berries and cherries with herbal-vegetable aromas, a little juniper and hints of pepper. Ripe, juicy, quite polished fruit, a little chocolaty and smoky wood, bacony nuances, herbs and peppery-spicy hints, certain ethereal freshness on the palate, noticeable alcohol, a little reminiscent of cherry brandy, very good, quite tight finish.
