2015 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Lagrein Riserva Der Bergmann, Alto Adige, Italy

Relatively firm, tart, slightly animal and dried vegetal fragrance with nutty and slightly smoky-bacon nuances, as well as more pronounced aromas of partly preserved cherries and black berries. Fairly dense, slightly preserved fruit with noticeable chocolate spicy notes, fine acid bite, fine sandy, still slightly astringent tannins, plum in the background, tobacco and some coffee grounds, good persistence, peppery and herbaceous notes, very lightly muted and drying, warm alcohol, good to very good finish.
