Tart, somewhat meaty-animalic aroma of predominantly black berries with a little mushroom, bacon, smoky-nutty wood notes and a hint of pepper. Ripe dark fruit with smoky-roasty and somewhat bitter wood spice, fine sandy tannin, some bite, lots of alcohol, some persistence, animal traces, bitter chocolate, good, somewhat drying, again alcoholic finish.
