2004 Alsterweiler Kapellenberg Grauburgunder Auslese trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Powerful fragrance of ripe melon and some banana with slightly herbaceous notes in the background. Harmonious and for the vintage soft, decent substance and good, quite dense fruit, the ripe, subtle acidity is well integrated and structures the wine, delicately spicy minerality, decent to good finish. Beautiful type of variety
