2000 Maikammer Kirchenstück Chardonnay trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Typical nose of white vegetables and mealy apples. Clean fruit, quite a rich style, fairly neutral character, harmonious, spicy oak, elegant acidity, slightly smoky on the palate, lots of extract and quite persistent, light mineral notes in the background, very good balance, good finish.
