2021 Grauburgunder Spätlese trocken "Lösswand, *** Selection", Baden, Germany

Clear, slightly herbal and floral pome fruit scent with nutty aromas, a hint of butter and a touch of broccoli and cauliflower. Ripe, sweetly juicy, partly candied and preserved fruit with nutty and moderately woody tones, quite lively acidity, some grip of crumbly tannin, a touch of caramel and butter on the palate, delicately peppery nuances, again hints of cabbage in the background, has power and warmth, good to very good, quite juicy, again delicately sweet finish with some yellow spice and warming alcohol.
