Nutty and restrained wood-spicy scent with pome fruit aromas and vegetal tones as well as a hint of tobacco and shells. Ripe, warm, melting fruit, smoky and nutty tones, a little dried floral in the background, a touch of red and dark berries, good persistence and substance, some candy, noticeable alcohol, mushroomy traces, a little caramel, drying tannin and noticeable wood, mineral hints, good to very good, high alcohol finish with buttery notes. Rather the heavy type that lacks a bit of balance.
