Firm, somewhat smoky and a touch tarry aroma of more black than red berries with a hint of cherries as well as floral and mushroomy traces and with air increasingly herbal aromas. Tart fruit in the mouth, clearly smoky wood with some coffee spice, certain acidity, present, fine sandy tannin, persistent on the palate, peppery and herbal traces, salt in the background, bacon and sooty nuances, very good, tart, tight finish that gains in juiciness with air.
