2020 Sauvignon Blanc Reserve "Ovum®", Württemberg, Germany

Firm and quite deep, somewhat smoky-woody aroma with cool white and yellow fruit notes, fresh herbal-vegetable notes, a little celery and root vegetables with a hint of redcurrant leaves and white pepper. Cool, bright, quite tight fruit, fine-juicy and polished, fresh green-vegetable and sweetish-tart mulchy flavours, delicate grip, some melting, smoky, nutty and peppery tones, a hint of caramel in the background, still undeveloped, smoky tones again, quite clearly salt, has power, very good, firm finish.
