Dense and deep, still very slightly muted, smoky and a little dried-vegetable nose of partly preserved mixed, predominantly dark berries and cherries with restrained meaty-animal aromas, root vegetables, especially beetroot, as well as earthy and tobacco notes. Ripe, firm, yet polished tart-juicy fruit, smoky wood aromas, present, initially still a little drying tannin, also yeasty nuances, some bite, good persistence and depth, earthy, bready and almost a little tarry notes, a little root vegetables, dark ethereal aromas, very good, firm, only again slightly drying finish with clearly increasing juice with air as well as peppery and juniper aromas. Gains strength over two days.
