Clear, somewhat peppery as well as a little nutty-woody and toasty scent of more black than red berries with dried-vegetable to tobacco and peppery hints. Dark fruit and smoky to sooty wood in the mouth, nutty and tart spicy flavours, fine sandy tannin, some bite, salt and a little chalk in the background, good persistence, good to very good, slightly bitterish-woody finish
