Developed, delicately smoky and tobacco-like aroma of predominantly dark berries with notes of paprika, moderate oak, soup herbs, undergrowth and leather. Tart fruit with roasted and smoky notes, paprika and green-vegetable tones, some pepper, tobacco, leather and smoke, salt in the background, slightly sandy tannins, some bite, slightly noticeable alcohol, woody tones, a little bitter chocolate and coffee grounds, slightly past its best, but still easy to drink, good to very good, slightly drying finish.

Editor note: Light floral and peppery notes on the nose, touch of bell peppers, red and black berries, hint of violets, star anise and cloves. Fairly polished fruit on the palate, hint of tobacco, earthy and vegetal notes, light nutty oak, fine sandy tannins, light bite, fairly persistent, hint of bell peppers, peppery traces, develops contours with aeration, mineral traces, hint of bacon, slightly astringent on a good to very good tart finish.
