2018 Pinot Noir Landwein "Juri", Baden, Germany

Taut, quite deep and complex, slightly nutty aroma of red and a little black berries with fine spicy and very slightly tobacco nuances. Quite tightly knit, ripe, dense, juicy fruit with tart smoky and toasty wood flavours, fine sandy, crumbly tannin and cocoa spicy notes, persistent, quite powerful and somewhat warm from alcohol, a hint of tobacco, spicy tones, slightly ethereal, very good, firm finish, again with warm juice and lots of chocolaty spice.
