The "Wein- und Sektgut - Destillerie Diehl" is located in the municipality of Edesheim (Südliche Weinstraße area) in the German wine-growing region of
Pfalz. Today it is run by Alexandra-Isabell and Andreas Diehl. The vineyards cover 48 hectares of vineyards in the single vineyard sites Altenforst and Schlossgarten (Burrweiler), Forst, Mandelhang and Rosengarten (Edesheim), Vogelsprung (Flemlingen), Kapelle (Hainfeld), Hohenrain (Knöringen), Rosenkränzel (Roschbach), Silberberg (Niederhorbach), and Michelsberg (Weyher). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Auxerrois, Müller-Thurgau, Kerner, Huxelrebe and Scheurebe, as well as the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, St. Laurent, Schwarzriesling, Portugieser and Dornfelder
The vineyards are cultivated conventionally, making full use of all
ecologically sound measures to promote soil culture. The grapes are processed gently. After
destemming (destemming ) and controlled fermentation, the white wines are stored for a long time on the
fine le es. The red wines are matured in wooden barrels or barriques after
maceration. The extensive product range includes the Superior (best barrels of a vintage), Premium Wine, Estate Wine, Secco/Sekt, Liqueur (fruit, fruit, chestnut, fig, rose) and Geist/Brand (pomace, grape, fruit) lines. The winery is a member of the
