The region (ital. Veneto) is located in the northeast of Italy and borders on four other regions. Synonyms are Ghera, Glere, Grappolo Spargolo, Prosecco, Prosecco Tondo, Serpina, Serprina, Serprino, Uva Pissona(Italy); Briska Glera, Gljera, Steverjana(Slovenia); Beli Teran, Teran Bijeli(Croatia).
