2015 Albana di Romagna DOCG passito "Colle del Re", Emilia Romagna, Italy

Firm and deep, nutty, herbal and slightly mushroomy aroma of candied yellow fruit with caramel, almond biscuits and nuances reminiscent of dried flowers. Firm, concentrated fruit with a hint of coffee liqueur and honey, fine acidity, dense and persistent, has a grip of ripe tannin, some nutty and spicy wood in the background, clearly cantuccini, chalky minerality, some depth, very good to long, sweet, spicy finish with dried fruit.
