2021 Toscana IGT Rosso "Aldone", Tuscany, Italy

Tart, firm, deep, somewhat smoky, bacony, dried vegetal nose, black berries and some sour cherries, hint of tobacco and tobacco ash, leathery notes, hint of black olives. Ripe, tart, juicy, quite dense, undeveloped fruit, appears fresh and surprisingly cool, herbal and slightly peppery flavours, some smoke, tobacco ash and coffee grounds, persistent on the palate, lively acidity and present, yet ripe tannins, certain roasted aromas, salt in the background, a little ethereal spice, good depth, still undeveloped, very good, firm, tart finish with bite.
