2020 Toscana IGT "Franchesato", Tuscany, Italy

Clean, polished, firm and quite deep bouquet with fine aromas of ripe black berries, nutty tones, a hint of pepper, red pepper and tobacco. Firmly woven, ripe, juicy dark fruit with a little chocolaty wood spice and eucalyptus, dense and persistent on the palate, lots of power but also cooling elements, quite present but at the same time very fine and ripe tannin, salty and also a little peppery in the background, still little developed, hints of black olives and oregano, very good, firm, warm, juicy and spicy finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2034+. What our ratings mean
