2020 Toscana IGT "Aldone", Tuscany, Italy

Firm and quite deep, inviting aroma of ripe dark berries, some cherries and a hint of plums with tomato hints, a little dark bread crust and nutty wood notes in the background. Ripe, dense and juicy dark fruit, bitter chocolate notes, nuts and a touch of tar, a little Mediterranean herbs, smoky nuances, lots of power and warmth, dark spice in the background, a little tomato paste and black olives, some salt, slight bite, hints of dark caramel in the background, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish with pressure and alcohol warmth.
