Nutty, somewhat smoky and tarry aroma of ripe black berries, red berries and a hint of plums with cocoa notes, maritime traces, and a little dried Mediterranean herbs. Ripe, quite juicy fruit with nutty, smoky and bitter chocolate flavours, present, fine sandy, slightly drying tannin, has power and noticeable alcohol, some soot and tar in the background, good persistence, mushroomy nuances, very good, if again a bit sandy-drying finish.
