Predominantly black berry flavour with a hint of cherries, paprika, a little Mediterranean herbs and juniper. Rather cool, tart, youthful fruit, quite fine, still relatively present tannins and some bite, nutty and a hint of tobacco flavours on the palate, hints of smoke, meat and bacon, some juniper and pepper, again also paprika, salt in the background, some coffee bitterness, a little muted and drying, good finish.
