2014 Soave Superiore DOCG Monte San Piero, Veneto, Italy

Nutty, somewhat yellow-spicy and dried-floral aroma of partly candied yellow fruits with light tobacco and delicately smoky nuances. Ripe, melting fruit with candy notes as well as nutty and smoky wood flavours, quite lively acidity, roasted sage and salt on the palate, good persistence, has power, some flint in the background, a little tannic grip, bitterish notes of candied citrus fruits in the very good, slightly warm and smoky finish
