2018 Barolo DOCG Rocche dell'Annunziata, Piedmont, Italy

Slightly tobacco and a hint of smoky scent of ripe red and a little black berries with floral nuances, a hint of herbs, black olives, capers, dried tomatoes and a little cigar box and tar. Ripe, juicy, tightly knit, slightly warm fruit, youthful, fine tannin and some bite, toasty, smoky and tobacco notes, some cocoa on the palate, persistent, has power, in the background, a little juniper and tar, also dried mushrooms, quite complex, good depth, very good, juicy and spicy finish.
