2004 Barolo DOCG Bricco Francesco, Piedmont, Italy

Somewhat herbaceous and floral aroma of ripe mainly red berries and partly preserved cherries with aromas of dried flowers and nutty traces. Ripe, rather juicy and quite dense fruit, nutty, dried floral and hints of buttery notes, crumbly-sandy, very lightly covering tannins, persistent and quite firm on the palate, a hint of cocoa, mineral hints, woody tones, certain warmth, very good finish
