Somewhat leathery and a touch tarry aroma of ripe predominantly dark berries with woody and tobacco notes as well as hints of black olives. Straightforward, again rather dark fruit with olive tones and a little smoky wood notes, tart nutty tones on the palate, fine dusty tannin, some persistence, warming alcohol, not very deep, good to very good finish with sweet melting and at the same time a little ashy bitter.

Best to drink: Bis 2025+. What our ratings mean
