Clear nose, ripe red and a few black berries, herbaceous notes, light smoked bacon, earthy and mineral notes. Partly preserved fruit on the palate, again more red than black fruit, hint of bacon and tobacco, light smoky, spicy oak, earthy and salty mineral notes, good persistence, fine sandy tannins, slightly astringent, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, hint of juniper and bread crust, light toasted and spicy notes on a good to very good finish with ripe fruit.
