2006 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Gewürztraminer Crescendo, Alto Adige, Italy

Fairly mature nose, some dried floral notes, roses and rosewood, aromas of candied yellow fruit, touch of dried herbs and a hint of pepper. Creamy and slightly sweetish on the palate, in spite of the bitter notes typical of the variety,fairly mature, partly candied fruit, tart notes of tobacco in the background, some light earthy and mineral notes,good persistence, elegant acidity, full body, tart and spicy on a good finish.
