2020 Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione "Vigna Gittori", Tuscany, Italy

Firm and quite deep, slightly warm aroma of ripe more red than black berries with nutty tones, a hint of tobacco, plums and liquorice. Ripe, juicy, polished red fruit, very fine, crumbly tannin and delicate acid bite, nutty aromas, a hint of vanilla and liquorice, persistent on the palate, very delicate smoky traces, fine spice, cooling mineral tones, a hint of cocoa and mocha in the background, good depth, a hint of citrus zest, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish. Still needs to mature.
