2020 Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione "Vigna Gittori", Tuscany, Italy

Firm, deep and relatively tart, somewhat dried floral aroma of black and red berries with leathery nuances, some root vegetables, meat, fennel and a hint of tar. Ripe, juicy and noble, quite dense fruit, smoky notes, some plums, vegetal and herbaceous tones and again a little leather and meat, persistent, good depth, ripe, still youthful tannins and some bite, a hint of roast, some rice leaf in the background, ethereal spice, very good to long, complex, somewhat ethereal-spicy finish with dense juice. Even stronger than last year.
