2009 D.O. Rueda Verdejo Fermentado en Barrica, Castilla y León, Spain

Tart nose, partly candied citrus and pomaceous fruit, herbs and spices, light vegetal and earthy notes, restrained spicy oak. Clear, ripe, but also still very youthful firm fruit, delicate oak, prominent herbaceous and light vegetal notes, fairly prominent elegant acidity, good substance and persistence, has some depth, good to very good finish.

Best to drink: Ende 2011 bis 2013+. What our ratings mean
