2020 Barbaresco DOCG, Piedmont, Italy

Relatively fresh, tomato and a little herbaceous, also reminiscent of mushrooms, red and black berries with peppery nuances and a hint of Amarena cherries. Ripe, somewhat melting, quite juicy fruit, nutty and very slightly chocolaty tones, hints of resinous herbal aromas and some dark peppery-ethereal spice, also a little salt in the background, good persistence, youthful, quite fine tannin, some bite, very good, quite juicy, again also ethereal-spicy and somewhat chocolaty finish with salty notes.
